Mission Statement

The Speckhard-Knight Charitable Foundation strives to provide individuals with the resources to lead full, independent, and inspired lives by granting to nonprofit organizations.

Principle areas of interest include:

• Aiding resiliency for families through educational and human service programs that emphasize, but are not limited to, domestic abuse, foster care support, and anxiety and depression

• Accessing the natural world, support for sustainability, and accessibility to summer camps

  Geographic priority is given to Jackson, Washtenaw, and Wayne Counties in the state of Michigan, and to areas the Board is familiar with.
